MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CORPORATE CLASS And ASSOCIATE CLASS:
CORPORATE MEMBERS
A body corporate or a multinational corporation with its head office or branch office in India or a sales-tax registered manufacturing concern or a sales-tax-registered business concern having annual turnover of not less than fifty million Rupees engaged in trade, commerce, manufacturing, industry, transport, banking, insurance, accountancy or mining, or any other lawful business for profit shall be eligible for enrolment as a Corporate Member, in their conventional or corporate name provided they have their principal place of business or Head Office situated in the areas falling within the jurisdiction of the Chamber.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
Associate member means a member of the Chamber which is not a body corporate or a multinational or a sales tax registered manufacturing concern or a sales-tax-registered business concern having annual turnover of not less than fifty million Rupees engaged in trade, commerce, agriculture, mining, or manufacturing or in any other lawful business for profit, persons interested in or having expert knowledge of accounts, trade, commerce, finance, industry, transport or agriculture in any particular branch or these lines, also persons engaged in or connected with economics, arts, sciences or literature bearing upon trade, commerce, finance, industry, mining, manufacturing, agriculture or transport, or any other lawful business for profit provided they have their principal place of business or Head Quarter situated in the area falling within the jurisdiction of the Chamber.
NEW MEMBERSHIP
Any business concern shall be eligible for registration of membership of any trade organization if such business concern meets the following conditions, namely:
- The prospective member is a sole proprietorship or a partnership firm or an association of persons or a company holding a national tax number and sales tax registration, if applicable, in name of the business concern.
- The prospective member’s business fits within the defined business scope or area of jurisdiction of the trade organization as provided in the said trade organization’s approved memorandum and articles of association and under the license granted by the government. The application for a grant of membership has been proposed and seconded by existing members of the said trade organization.
- The prospective member has no criminal conviction.
- The prospective member has a valid national tax number and sales tax registration, if applicable.

Note: The membership and subscription fees deposited will not be refunded Rights of admission towards the membership is reserved with the chamber and subject to the approval of executive committee.
Renewal of Membership
The Membership shall be renewable on an annual basis subject to fulfilment of the following conditions namely:
- A member applying for renewal of membership must fulfil the respective membership class criteria.
- Payment of the prescribed subscription within the time stipulated as mentioned in the Membership Form.
- Proof of filing return of income tax and sales tax, if applicable for the preceding year.
Note: Normally, there is no difference in services to the members of INDO-ARGCOC belonging to different classes. All the members of INDO-ARGCOC, regardless of their class of membership, have the same privileges. The difference is only in the membership fee of different classes.
Restoration of Membership
If a business entity remained a member of INDO-ARGCOC in the past but could not pay described subscriptions within the stipulated time i.e., 31st of March of every year.
Invitation Letter
The Indo-Argentina Chamber of Commerce issues Visa Invitation Letters in favour of Indian Embassies/ High Commissions/ Consulates, in Foreign Countries, to support the Visa Applications of the members’ Clients/ Distributors/ Supplier/ Buyers, etc. Normally, it will take one or more week for processing the Visa Invitation Letter application of members.
Documents Required
- Request on company’s letterhead duly signed by an authorized representative.
- Application form.
- Passport copy of the person to be invited.
Visa Recommendation
The Indo-Argentina Chamber of Commerce issues Visa Recommendation Letters in favour of foreign Embassies/ High Commissions/ Consulates, in India to support the Visa Applications ofthe members. Normally, it will take one week or more for processing the Visa Recommendation Letter application of member.
HOW TO GET THE VISA RECOMMENDATION LETTER?
Any member of INDO-ARGCOC may file his application for the issuance of a Visa Recommendation Letter. The members (Proprietors/ Partners/ Directors) etc are required to submit the following documents for the issuance of a Visa Recommendation Letter.
- Request Letter (on their own Letterhead) signed by the Authorized Representative in the Chamber, duly filled.
- Application Form.
- Copy of National Identity Card with the original.
- Copy of Passport with visa pages (if any).
- Bank Statement for the last six months.
- Copy of Membership certificate.
- Invitation from foreign customers (in case of business visa) or Hotel Booking.
- One Picture of Passport Size.
- Proof of National Tax Number (NTN) that he is paying Income Tax.
In case of Employee applies for a Visa Recommendation Letter is required to submit some additional documents with the above documents mentioned.
- Service Certificate with monthly drawing salary (six months).
- The Undertaking Form should be signed by the firm’s authorized representative in the Chamber.
- Signature of the firm’s authorized representative on the request letter as well as on the undertaking must be verified from the Chamber’s record.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN LETTER
It is a type of certificate issued to members of the Indo-Arg Chamber of Commerce for various purposes including Customs clearance, Embassies or others, etc., and to be presented to different authorities for the intended purpose.
CHAMBER ID CARD
A Chamber membership card is the identity proof of your members’ subscription to your association. Typically, it mentions their membership levels with the issue and expiration date that validate their subscription for a given period. Membership cards are used to check in members at events. A subscription card may also function as a loyalty card.

Argentina’s Independence Day is celebrated on May 25th every year, the people of Argentina take to the streets and participate in everything from marches and concerts to public rallies and meetings to celebrate May Revolution Day or Dia de la Revolucion de Mayo.
May Revolution started on May 25 in 1810. The actual commemorative day was the last day in the week-long series of events, which started on May 18. During that stage in history, Argentina had been part of Spanish colonial rule for quite some time.
